My name is Eden Irfan and I am 12 years old. My father works in a factory and earns very low. Our life is hard and very challenging. I always thought that God didn’t love us, that I was not important to anyone and nobody loved us. Last week one brother from our colony came to our home and shared the Word of God from The Prayer Covenant for Children.
God Loves All
We learned that God loves everyone, and we all are very important in His eyes. He taught me many things from this prayer book. For the first time in my life I felt that I am also important. He asked me to join Sunday school. Since then I am regularly attending Sunday school. My prayer life has also improved. I always keep my family situation in front of God, and I believe that soon our family’s financial situation will become good. Thank you for opening my eyes to the love of God.
Another Testimony for The Prayer Covenant
Another child shared, I am 10 years old and have three brothers and two sisters. My father used to take drugs and his behavior was harmful for the whole family. We were always worried about him. Last month in our Sunday school class we started The Prayer Covenant lessons and I came to know the importance of “Prayer”. As a family started praying regularly for our father. After a few months we felt our father’s behavior had started changing day by day. Eventually, his behavior totally changed. Within a few months and he stopped using drugs. Now he has also started praying with us and loves us. I am very thankful to God and The Prayer Covenant lessons.
The Prayer Covenant Ministers to Children
The Prayer Covenant ministers to children in many impoverished nations. Their day-to-day existence can seem hopeless. When you live in absolute poverty, meeting the minimum requirements for basic needs is a daily, sometimes hourly, struggle. They often don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Parents often lose their jobs that pay pennies. When you add drug addiction or alcohol to the equation, you can imagine the pain and suffering these children endure. Our partners are ministering to these families. They bring the hope of the gospel, the love of Jesus and an invitation to be part of a church family where they can grow in their faith and be encouraged and guided in day-to-day decisions.
These leaders need our prayers and financial support. Ministry can be very challenging made even more difficult in restricted nations. We cannot send Sunday school materials into the country. They must be printed inside. The daily struggles are real. Please keep them in your prayers.
